Watonwan Library Design-Your-Own T-Shirt Workshop - Welcome!

Shot of the 'vintage' T-shirts for sale at Target.  You can put anything on a T-shirt.  Sports teams, cartoon characters, favorite bands, the possibilities are endless. We'll learn some basics about Design and Fonts and how you can put these together and print your own T-shirt.

Here's a simple design: one image and one name.  The odd coloring (and funny dog face) with the funky font make it work.

Some questions to consider:

How does your text go with your image? Does it need to?

Does it contrast with the image or meaning of the words in an interesting, funny, or ironic way?

Is your design funny or serious? Nonsensical? Promote something you like or you care about?

Is this something you want to wear? Would you be able to give it to someone else to wear or is it really personal to you?
